Save yourself first before save the others...

I often heard these words from the plane safety procedure during the plane flight. These words just can easily describe my thoughts at this time.. Tried to be `the good guy` and come out being the loser...

So, I got this job offer from X since last Monday. This job can give me bunch of money that enough to repay the Excursion fee. This job is easy and it's only for one day (and I can already got EUR100 in my pocket). But, this stupid me didn't take this offer excitedly. I got these Plans that already stucked in my head since a few days before. So, on Saturday, I already have a plan to go to the 'Internationales Frühstück' in KHG. I like this event and most of my friends are excited to go there too. It's hard for me to left them alone and go to work.. (and not even offer them to join me working! That is so not me...)

I didn't directly answered X's offer that day and the days just went on.. My head is full of the Math Exam and just learning.. and learning. Untill that day (Wednesday), X asked me again about this job offer. He asked me if I want to take this offer or not. I said that I'd like to take it but I don't want to left my friends behind. Then he came out with an idea (which I can't help thinking, why this easy idea just came out that day...) to call my friends and told them to find someone with the Lohnsteuerkarte.. so they can work to with me..

In a count of minutes, I can arrange the plan so beautifully. X will call the boss and asked if the offer still opens.

On Thursday, it tourned out that the offer is already closed and the job was already full. Wednesday was the last day to get in the list. I'M 1 DAY LATE!!!!! In one day, I already lost EUR100.... Damned me!!!!!

I should have called the bos since the day X said the plan and then just easy called my friends and tell them that I got the job,, so they can look for someone with Lohnsteuerkarte and get the job too.... It's absolutely useless just to wait for them and being 'the nice guy'....

This is something I do learn... I learned a lot from this things... Wow,, got so much to learn.....
